The 10 Best Places to Eat in Arashiyama, Kyoto
There are many sightseeing spots in Arashiyama such as Togetsu kyo, Suzumushi Dera, and Sagano scenic railway. Many of you might visit this area. So, today I’m going to introduce 10 best delicious food you must try in Arashiyama.
1. Taisho HANANA
This is an Ochazuke specialized restaurant in Arashiyama. Their popular item is “Red snapper Chazuke” and you can enjoy it in three different ways – Sashimi, donburi style and ochazuke.
First, start with sashimi dipping it into sesami sauce. Then, put those sashimi on top of rice to make donburi style. Finally, pour hot green tea all over it and enjoy it as ochazuke.

This restaurant is located very close to Togetsukyo and they received michelin 3 stars.
Each course starts from 30,000 yen per person and their service and food are just amazing. Each piece is beautifully made just like art.
