The 10 Best Places to Eat in Hida Takayama, Gifu

“Takayama” is a city for sightseeing that is in North Gifu. There are historical places in downtown. Also there are lots of good local food such as Hida beef in Takayama. Today, we would like to introduce food to eat in Takayama top 10.

1. Le midi

“Le midi” is a restaurant that got 4th place at Best restaurant in Japan 2016 by famous trip website. You can eat “Hida beef hohoniku no red wine nikomi” for 3500 yen, “Hida beef kodawari hamburg” for 200 yen.

“Kyoya” is where they serve traditional local food. It looks like a restaurant in Kyoto. Their popular menu are “Tsukemono steak (450 yen) and “Houba miso (700 yen)”.

“Hida kisetsu ryori Sakana” is where you can eat seasonal food in Hida. In spring, you can eat mountain vegetables, in summer, you can eat river fish, in autumn, you can eat mushroom, and in winter, you can eat wild boar.
