They use sesame seeds oil so it is healthy and it is good for female too. They don’t have particular menu, they serve seasonal tempura. They serve not only tempura but raw fish too.
They get row fish from Tsukiji market every morning. They have course meal for 7000 yen that comes with 10 kinds of tempura, row fish, small dish and dessert.

2. Tempura Shinjuku Tsunahachi Sohonten
It is a popular restaurant in Shinjuku sanchome. There are 54 counter seats and 32 table seats, and also they have 36 tatami seats on the second floor. It has opened in 1924 and has had tradition for more than 90 years but they always try something new.
They now have 30 restaurants and 9 stores in Japan. They use original oil and adjust flour depends on the weather. Their sauce for tempura has been made for 90 years.
Also it is good to eat with salt. They have 4 kinds of salt. They also have unique menu like oyster pepper, or tempura ice cream.

“Funabashiya honten” is located at 3 minutes from Shinjuku station by foot and it has been opened for 130 years. You can see them cook at counter seats and they have English menu so we suggest this place to people from overseas too.
They have about 10 table seats and tatami seats on the second floor. They serve seasonal menu. Their course is from 5300 yen to 8500yen, their lunch is from 1350 yen to 2500 yen.

“Tenkane” is located on the first floor of Odakyu Halc. Tenkane has been opened for 110 years. They have 13 counter seats and also private tatami room and you can see chief cooks in front of you.
They also have English menu too, so it is easy for people from overseas to order. They go to Tsukiji market every morning and they serve only food they get from there.
They have lunch course from 1900 yen to 5000 yen, and dinner course from 5000 yen to 10000 yen. If you want to eat at tatami counter, it will be 15500 yen. Please enjoy!

“Kobikicho Tenkuni” is located on the 14th floor of Shinjuku Takashimaya square and has been opened for 120 years. You can see them cooking tempura from counter seats. They have table seats too, so you don’t have to worry about taking shoes off.
They use mix oil of sesame seeds and corn. It is light so it is good for stomach and also it is said their side dish like raw fish and alcohol are good too.

“Tempura Shun” is located on the 7th floor of Keio Plaza hotel. They have only 20 seats mainly black colored counter seats. They serve fresh products. They change the temperature of oil depends on what they cook.

It is located at 5 minutes from Shinjukusanchome station by foot. It is on the base floor of building on Suehiro street. They have counter seats where you can see the chef cooking and also they have table seats too.
Their popular menu is lunch tendon which is 1200 yen. Also “Shiruhitozohiru shijimijiru” is what you should order. They have teishoku from 2700 yen to 6700 yen, rice bowl from 1400 yen to 3400 yen.
