Omotesando is where all the youngsters and jetsetters go, and you can find many restaurants, shops, and cafe there. Located nearby Harajuku and Meiji Jingu Shrine, Omotesando is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Japan, as it can be easily accessed with JR Yamanote Line and Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line. 1. Ota Memorial Museum of Art

Located within 5-minute walk from Harajuku Station, and the museum displays many gorgeous Japanese paintings Ukiyo-e collections.

You can find many creations of Japanese famous painters; from Hokusai Katsushika to Hiroshige Utagawa, you can find many famous paintings in this museum. This museum has around 14,000 artwork, and it displays 80-100 artwork every month.

You can also participate in Japanese painting seminar as well, but you have to make reservation beforehand to do so!

2. Nezu Museum

Located within 10-minute walk from Omotesando Station, Nezu Museum has around 7,420 collections of vintage artwork; including but limited to: national treasures (7 pieces), important cultural asset (87 pieces), and important artwork (94 pieces).

You can see both Oriental and Western artwork at Nezu Museum, and don’t forget to explore the garden for its gorgeous view and romantic atmosphere as well!

3. Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum

Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum is one of the most famous museums in Japan, and is located within 10-minute walk from Omotesando Station. The museum uses the building that was used by Taro Okamoto as his atelier, and you can see many of his artwork there.

You can also enjoy seeing the seasonal exhibitions as well, which always have different exhibition theme all the time!

4. Aoyama Zenkoji Temple

Aoyama Zenkoji Temple is located within 5-minute walk from Omotesando Station, and this temple also has a very long history since Edo period.
