The special sauce matches perfectly the grilled meat. The restaurant is popular with locals.

10. Shimadaya

“Shimadaya” is a Genghis Khan restaurant with 50 years of history. They serve the traditional flavor which hasn’t changed over 50 years. Lamb is marinated in their secret sauce.

They also have a course menu “drink as much as you want”. The restaurant is open until AM6:00 in the morning, so you can enjoy Genghis Khan and drinks without worrying about time. It’s also loved by locals.

The recommended course is “Tokutoku course”. You can eat as much as you want in 100 minutes for JPY3500. Quite reasonable! If you feel like having Genghis Khan at late night, this is the place you can consider.
