“Ueno Taishoen” is a yakiniku restaurant located 3 minute walk from Ueno station or Okachimachi station. Besides the main branch, there are two other branches in Ueno area.

There are discounts on grilled dishes and side dishes on the 29th of every month which is called “Meat DAY” or Sunday/public holidays. If you want to drink a lot, there is a course menu which comes with “drink as much as you want”

“Okinawa Dining Ryuka” is a restaurant specializes in Okinawan cuisine, located 3 min walk from Ueno station.

The first floor has separate tables, the second floor has semi-private rooms and the third floor has horigotatsu seats. You can choose which tables and seats to use depending on occasions and the number of people.

Most ingredients come from Okinawa directly and you can have awamori (Alcohol from Okinawa) served in a special bowl called KaraKara.

More than 50 different craft beers from the world are served. The menu includes major ones such as Budweiser (JPY690) and Heineken (JPY740) and ones you don’t often see in Japan such as 333 (JPY790) and Singha (JPY740).

5.Fu Bu Ki

“Fu Bu Ki” is an izakaya in a standing bar style located in 2 minute walk from Okachimachi station. It opened in October 2014. If you feel like seafood, come here! At “Fu Bu Ki”, dishes are priced quite reasonably, starting from JPY 190.

It’s rather a small cosy izakaya not suitable for a large group. But it’s a fantastic place for a small group of people or yourself.

“Seiya no Utage” is only 3 min walk from Ueno Station. This place is equipped with all private rooms. There are seats for couples and also different sizes of private function rooms.
