3. Suzumushi temple

In Suzumushi temple, when it is autumn, you can hear chorus of crickets that makes you relax. Even it’s not autumn, you can hear lots of sound. So please visit once.

4. Jinrikisha

5. Nomiya shrine

Nomiya shrine is a shrine that was written in Genji story. The tori gate is built by the oldest way in Japan. Nowadays, it is known as good luck for relationships, so good place for couple.
After going to main shrine, touch a stone that looks like big turtle that is called “Okame ishi”. It is said your dream comes true within a year.

6. Trolley
You can have rare experience by riding trolley. The stations are small that makes you feel old days in Japan. How about enjoying watching the view from Kameoka station to Sagano station?

7. Yojiya café Sagano Arashiyamaten

Sightseeing is fun but makes you tired. When you want to take a break, stop by at Yojiya café Sagano Arashiyamaten. Lots of women know by the character that is on coffee or sweets. Their oil paper is most famous gift from Kyoto, also they have café.

10. Arashiyama Monkey park iwatayama

In Nara, they have deer. In Kyoto, they have monkeys. At Arashiyama monkey park Iwatayama, you can meet wild Japanese monkeys. Once you enter the park, you see monkeys everywhere. There are about 120 monkeys there.
In spring to summer, you may see baby monkeys. Also it is surrounded by nature so you can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and leaves turning red in autumn.
