For your information, they perform once at another competition to win the place for the theatre, so only those who won the competition could get a place for them to perform at the theatre.

The tickets are quite affordable as it starts from 1,000 yen, so literally almost everyone can join! When you pass the ticket to enter, you will receive a coin – that coin can be used for the vending machine to be exchanged to a little bottle of Oronamin C. But just be careful, drinking and eating inside the theatre are strictly banned.

Namba Grand Kagetsu

One of the theatres with many fans is “Namba Grand Kagetsu”. Here, “Yoshimoto Shinkigeki” that is on air on TV is to be seen. Basically, the main performance called “Manzai・Rakugo and Shinkigeki” is to be played 4 times a day (3 times during the day, and once at night), and thus this could one of the best recommended sightseeing spots.

“Tenman Tenjin Hanjotei” is located near Osaka Tenman Gu, which is counted as one of Japan’s 3 major festivals. At this place, a traditional Kamigata Rakugo can been seen. You might think of the comedians on TV when it comes to Osaka, but in this area, you can enjoy Rakugo as well.

Shinsekai Asahi Theatre Yoshimoto Live

The one located in Osaka Shinsekai is called “Shinsekai Asahi Theatre Yoshimoto Live”. Asahi theatre is one of the major halls and rental theatres in Osaka, so you can actually rent a theatre yourself! The events here are actually to be held irregularly, but still, they can be enjoyed.

Basically, the shows are on for 3 days a week which is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, but it is subject to change depending on the season.
