“Gyoza Centre” is a Gyoza shop located just 3 minutes away from Chokoku no Mori Station or Goura Station on foot. You can also visit this place by car as there is a free parking available. They offerr a wide range of unique menus of Gyoza!

Some of their Gyoza menus include crabs, shrimps, and corn which sound so unique! Although they have some standard Gyoza menus, try different ones such as the one with kimchi and uodn noodles! They have a great reputation as well. Inside the shop has an amazing interior, so just visit and enjoy!

“Tamura Ginkatsu Tei” is the popular cutlet restaurant which often makes a queue. It has an easy access within a walk distance from Goura Station. If you have a chance to visit this “Tamura Ginkatsu Tei”, “Tofu Cutlet Gozen” and “Tofu Cutlet Set Meal” are strongly recommended.

This is a stewed fried tofu with pork mince, and its taste is guaranteed! For tofu, “Gin Tofu” is used. With a light flavour, you can just eat healthy!

If you go on a trip to Ashinoko, try “Bakery & Table Hakone” for lunch! You can get some breads at the bakery on the 1st bakery and eat it at the cafe on the 2nd floor with a cup of coffee or organic tea.

3rd floor is a restaurant which offers a wide variety of menus including sandwiches, quiches and sweets. All plates look great so that you might want to take photos of them! And the views from the terrace are amazing too – This cafe is strongly recommended to eat out for lunch!

This is the first gourmet you might want to try once you are in Japan! Yes, Sushi. Sushi is very unique to Japan, which is surrounded by the sea, and is now recognised all over the world. If you want to try Sushi in Hakone, “Nakamuraya” near Hakone Yumoto Station is the best.

The most popular menu is “Steamed Sushi”, available only between October and May. Congers, shrimps, squids, and eggs are to be put onto the steamed vinegar rice. Of course, it tastes great too. An Italian restaurant in Hakone Glass no Mori Museum – “La Canzone”. They have a wide variety of menus including pasta, bread, hashed beef, and sweets. Interior looks gorgeous, and actually, live music of canzone is to be performed inside the restaurant.

Canzone is a public music of Italy in the late 19th century. It is performed 6 times a day including these times; 11:00-11:15 and 12:00-12:15 etc. It makes a dining experience at this Italian restaurant even more special, and makes you feel so rich! A hidden gem in Miyanoshita, Hakone – “Iroriya”. Although this is Izakaya during dinner time, they are open for lunch as well. Even though it is said to be a hidden gem, there is always a queue of people! All the tourists visit this place.

At this restaurant, try “Ashigara Beef Steak Bowl” for lunch! That is the time when you know the reason why this restaurant is so popular! The beef itself is so soft and has a mouth-melting texture. Located near Ashinoko, there is an Italian restaurant called “La Terrazza”. They offer about 30 different pizzas – and they are so crispy! They are slightly big, but you can get it with an affordable price. Also, you don’t have to wait too long to eat, so it is good, isn’t it?

They have 5 different menus for pasta everyday, and it comes with focaccia and dessert. If the weather is good on the day of your visit, then try to sit in the terrace! It is an amazing way to spend your lunch time near Ashinoko. Breathe, and enjoy your time in Hakone!

If you want to try the authentic Yuba near Hakone Yumoto Station, “Naokichi” is the one. For Yuba Bowl, they use the water called “Hime no Mizu” from Ohiradai to make tofu skin. It keeps your body warm, and happy! But just beware you might have to queue up to try!

You can actually go on a sightseeing as they will call you once your turn has come up! From inside the restaurant, you can always look at the beautiful views of a river and mountains. Try and drop by now!

“Watanabe Bakery” is located in Miyanoshita. This bakery is full of classical atmosphere serving the popular menu – “Onsen Stew Bread”. Making a hole inside a French roll to pour stew to it. And, each piece of beef tastes great as well!
