“Echikatsu” was found in 1871 in Yushima, Bunkyo-ku. The restaurant is known as a long-established restaurant where famous writers from the Meiji period used to dine. In this historic restaurant, you can relax in a private room overlooking the Japanese garden while enjoying a tasty sukiyaki meal.
Japanese black beef is cooked with special warishita that its recipe is passed on to family. The five meal course is 6,480yen, and the six meal course is 7,560yen. “Kakiyasu Ginza-ten” is on the 7th floor of the GINZA gCUBE building in Ginza. The restaurant is famous for sukiyaki. You can easily find the restaurant with noren, traditional Japanese fabric dividers usually hung in the doors and windows, on the wooden wall. The restaurant provides Matsuzaka beef which is known as an art work of meat and Japanese black beef. You can choose either one of beef for a sukiyaki course or a shabu-shabu course.
The popular dish is, of course, the sukiyaki course. You can enjoy the sukiyaki course for 8,500yen during lunch time, but the price becomes between 12,000 and 15,000yen during dinner time. The decoration of Japanese paper lantern at the “Yonekyu honten” reminds you of a lively festival. The restaurant has a particular appearance with the red noren. Once you are inside, you will be surrounded by the nostalgic ambience from the Showa period.
“Yonekyu honten” serves only gyu nabe which is another word for sukiyaki. The “Jyo no gyu nabe” with lean beef is 3,160yen, and the “Toku no gyu nabe” with marbled beef is 3,790yen. “Imafuku” is located in shirokane, and a lattice window and door provides an elegant ambience. The tables are available on the first floor and private dining rooms are on the second floor. Shabu-shabu and sukiyaki using the highest grade of Japanese black beef are served at this restaurant.
