6. Chasho Shimizu Ippoen

10 mins from Shichijo station, relatively close to Kyoto station as well, I recommend you to stop by at this store.

Their “Kiwami parfait” is definitely a must try item! This is a 25 cm tall parfait! The store has a good relaxing atmosphere so enjoy your matcha time here.

7. Goryukaku

This is a cafe built in a historical building. It was built in Taisho era, more than 100 years ago. With this amazing atmosphere, you can have matcha soy drink, matcha tofu sweets, coffee jelly, etc. There are some antique items in the cafe, so check them out too.

8. Tsuruya Yoshinobu

This is also a great matcha cafe I recommend. They sell many kinds of Japanese sweets, so many customers and tourists visit this store to get them.

You can have a fresh brewed Matcha here as well. The store staff makes Matcha in front of you so that’d be a memorable experience.
