1. Bokunenjin
Bokunenjin is one of the most famous soba restaurants in Izu, and it offers superb Juwari-soba to its customers.
Different from other soba, Juwari-soba only uses buckwheat flour as its main ingredients, creating healthier soba with fragile texture; juwari-soba breaks easily compare to other types of soba.
Bokunenjin offers not just delicious juwari-soba, but also great calming atmosphere as well as you can stare at the famous bamboo path “Chikurin no Komichi” from the window while enjoying your meal.

2. Nofuzo
Nofuzo is a perfect for those who are craving for delicious tonkatsu while staying in Izu. Located within 3-minute walk from Makinoko Station, Nofuzo serves one of the best tonkatsu in Izu with its special homemade sauce.
Just like other tonkatsu restaurants, Nofuzo also serves croquette and chicken karaage, but its specialty is definitely the tonkatsu. Using only the best Japanese pork loins, the tonkatsu served at Nofuzo is very thick and juicy.

Genraku is one of the most famous Wagashi shops in Izu, and it is famous for its delicious goma (sesame) manju (steamed bun).

Shuzenji no Yoshokuya is famous for its fluffy and savory omelette rice, and for its juicy apple pie as well!
You can reach Shuzenji no Yoshokuya easily by taking the bus bouncing to Shuzenji Onsen from Shuzenji Station, and get off at Shuzenji Sougoukaikan bus stop. The restaurant is decorated mainly in white, and all seats are equipped with heater (kotatsu) as well.
Make sure that you stop by this restaurant to try its delicious omelette rice & apple pie!
